Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Thomas Barros began his musical studies in 2003 with the Banda Musical Professor Cândido Duarte, under the guidance of professors Isaac Leandro and Rinaldo Teodoro.
In 2007, he continued his education at the Escola Técnica Estadual de Criatividade Musical do Recife, studying with professors João Evangelista and Jorge Gonçalves Guerra.
He enjoys a busy career as a performer and educator, and has recorded in the studio for a host of international artists.
