Ron Renaissance

Born and raised in New York City, Ron Renaissance is the embodiment of the city’s rich culture and musical heritage. By 14, he began performing in local venues while studying at the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts then later receiving his bachelor’s in Jazz Performance from SUNY Purchase, laying the foundation for what would become a remarkable global career.

By 25, he had toured over 30 countries, establishing himself as a staple trombonist in the industry. His ability to seamlessly blend genres with tasteful, virtuosic improvisational solos has made him a highly sought-after musician in both the studio and on tour.

In 2018, Ron and his wife JodiMusic founded Uptown Royalty INC, a groundbreaking, genre-bending live musical experience that has captivated audiences at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, the National Jazz Museum of Harlem, The Versace Mansion, The National Arts Club, and more. Ron’s innovative approach has redefined the trombone’s role in modern music, seamlessly integrating it into fresh, unexpected sonic landscapes.

Since 2013, Ron has crafted his signature sound with his Rath R10 model, a trombone that has been instrumental in shaping his unmistakable tone and power. Ron Renaissance remains dedicated to his craft, pushing the limits of what the trombone can achieve in our modern music industry.
