Grethe Tonheim to adjudicate at European Championships

Rath Artist Grethe Tonheim is preparing for an exciting engagement in Austria, where she will form part of the adjudicating jury at the 2026 European Brass Band Championships.

Grethe has been appointed as one of the adjudicators of Championship Section bands' own-choice test-pieces at the prestigious event, which takes place in Linz in April.

She will be joined in the own-choice section by Edward Gregson and Thomas Ludescher.

The event forms part of a busy period of elite level music making at the European Brass Band Championships, one of the most celebrated brass band contests in the world.
