His broad stylistic fluency is further informed by studies with leading artists including Andy Martin, Wycliffe Gordon, and Delfeayo Marsalis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eA dedicated educator, KJ serves as Director of Bands at West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver, where he leads a comprehensive programme including concert band, jazz ensemble, and music theory.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eHe also maintains a private studio for brass students and is committed to fostering musical excellence through both performance and education.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eKJ Jackson holds a Master of Music in Orchestral Trombone from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eKevin Jackson performs on a Rath Custom R3F with a red brass bell and tuning slide, and yellow brass hand slide with a 31 leadpipe.
