There he received great instruction and musical guidance from wonderful teachers in the area such as Rob Roadman, Paul Destito and the late Earle Brauhardt. After winning a few scholarships and Jazz Awards (such as the EMI Latin\/Selena Award and the Treasure Coast Jazz Scholarship), Jaime was introduced to Dixieland music by the the Bill Allred’s Classic Jazz Band.
