JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath Bb/F Tenor Trombones
The new JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath tenor trombones are not only intended to be the best possible Bb/F trombones for students, but have also been designed with a great deal of care and attention to the instruments' ergonomics.
Both the JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath have a closed valve wrap and small counterweight means that the instrument stays balanced when going past fourth position. Traditionally closed wrap instruments and rotary valves have been associated with unresponsive instruments in the valve register, but the valve wrap on the JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath has been designed so that this isn't a problem. Even low C on the valve speaks far more responsively than you might expect.
We know that for younger players, holding the instrument for any length of time can be a challenge, so in addition to making sure the balance is right, we've added a unique adjustable thumb lever for the valve. This means that even the smallest hands can hold the trombone with ease.
As well as these features, the JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath trombones have all of the same characteristics that have made the JP230/Rath and JP231/Rath Bb tenor trombones so successful. All of these models have the same uniquely high standards of playability and build quality in a student trombone.
Both the JP331/Rath and JP332/Rath Bb/F student trombones are available directly from us for just £827 inc. vat for UK customers. Alternatively contact your nearest Rath distributor.
